Chamomile

How to grow: Plant in full sun and well drained soil ~ plant abt 12 inches apart..buy a plant w/out flowers.

Prune: At the end of the season ~ frost ~ cut plant back to 2-3 inches.

Harvest: Harvest the flowers in the early morning as they are produced and bloom ~ all throughout the growing season.

Uses: It's a calming & soothing tea, treats fevers, treats kidney, liver, and bladder problems, and helps to relieve headaches ~ relieves toothaches, nerves and anxiety, helps digestion problems, especially when taken with peppermint. It's an anti-inflammatory, a mild sedative and an anti-ulcer remedy. It has anti-oxidant activity and the essential oil extracted from the chamomile flowers has been shown to have antimicrobial activity. It even acts as an antihistamine.
