Take echinacea to boost your immunity this time of year. I take it as a tincture (8 drops per glass 2x per day) when I'm starting to feel sick-ish or when I'm caring for one of my children who is sick.
Take it for 8-10 days ~ after that the effects start to wear off.
It can also be given to children to boost immunity and to shorten the length of a sickness. Be sure, though, to purchase the glycerin mix tincture of echinacea ~ not the grain alcohol solution. It's a little less effective, but safer to give to children.
