If you'd like a remedy that is most likely sitting in your kitchen cabinet, try cayenne pepper as a natural fever reducing remedy. ..and to help with a cold.
Simply add it to soups and stews that you're eating while you're sick, take cayenne capsules or try this tea:
Add a pinch of the pepper to a cup of chamomile or fennel tea and stir well ~ drink as hot as you can stand it and REST. The cayenne will help you sweat the fever out.
